- Rinse well and then cover in clean water. Soak in clean water 3 hrs. A after soaking cover with mixture of:
- 7 lbs cucumbers-cover with 2 cups lime and 2 gallons of water. Soak with this mixture 24 hours.
- 2 quarts vinegar
- 5 lbs sugar

- Pickling spice 1 tsp
