- LEMON CURD:
- 3 egg yolks
- 6 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 1/2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into pieces, cold
- 1 teaspoon freshly-grated lemon zest
- FROSTING:
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream, chilled
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon dried lavender buds
