- 1 can (14 1/2-ounce) pink or red beans, drained
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 1/2 can (8-ounce) fat-free refried beans
- 1 can (15-ounce) reduced sodium chicken broth*
- 1 3/4 cups water
- 8 ounces DeLallo Gluten Free shells (or DeLallo whole wheat)
- 3/4 cup part-skim sharp cheddar cheese, shredded*

Soup base. I usually use the thanksgiving leftover turkey to make a nice, meat-filled , rich stock
- 6 TB. Butter
- 6 TB. Flour
- 1 TB. olive oil
- 1/2 package deer polish sausage, or 1 andouille sausage, or 1 smoked sausage
- 1/2 medium bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 medium onion, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 TB. Thyme
- 1/2 tsp. Ground Cumin
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper (if using spicy andouille sausage use 1/4tsp)
- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
- 1 qt turkey stock w/ turkey meat (see note)
- 4 large bay leaves
- 1/2 cup rice, vege rice, or brown rice (before cooking)
- 1 cup or as much as you like, Leftover turkey meat cubed into bite sized pieces.
- 1/4 lb small shelled shrimp (I don't use these as Linda doesn't like shrimp)

Pour boiling water over mushrooms to cover and soak at least 30 minutes (up to 3 hours) to soften
- 4 shiitake mushrooms
- 1 1/2 lbs. ground turkey (preferably dark meat)
- 2 tsp. minced ginger
- 2 tsp. Thai green curry paste, or more to taste
- 2 Tbsp. Asian fish sauce (nam pla nuoc nam; substitute soy sauce with a dash of Worcestershire sauce or anchovy paste if desired)
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- ¹⁄3 c. green onions, white and green parts finely chopped
- 1/4 c. chopped cilantro
- salt to taste
- 2 Tbsp. peanut oil
- 1 recipe Spicy Asian Dipping Sauce
- ¹⁄3 c. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. rice vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. sesame oil
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. minced green onions
- 1/4 c. chopped cilantro leaves (optional)
- 1 to 2 tsp. Asian chile sauce, such as Chinese chile/garlic paste or Thai chili sauce (Sriracha)

- 1 (12 to 14-pound) fresh turkey, with giblets removed
- 3 ounces white truffle butter, room temperature
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- Large bunch fresh thyme
- 1 large onion, unpeeled and cut in eighths
- 1 whole head garlic, unpeeled and cut in half crosswise
- Good olive oil
- Note: I found truffle butter at my local Costco, and it wasn't as expensive as I thought.
