- 4 sliced russet potatoes
- 3 tblsp butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz. cheddar cheese
- salt & pepper
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 tblsp. thyme
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 onion minced
- optional. 1 cup chicken broth

Step 1
saute onions & spices
add cream & water + potatoes & simmer till potatoes almost tender
pour in baking dish. cover w/cheese
bake 425 for 15 min
