Nutty Date Cookies

Delicious nutty date cookies in just four steps...now THAT is my kind of cookie recipe!

Ingredients

• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 cup butter or shortening
• 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 1/2 cup flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 8 ounces dates, chopped
• 1/3 cup walnuts, chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Cream wet ingredients. Add in dry ingredients.

Fold in dates and nuts.

Drop by teaspoon on ungreased sheet, flatten with palm of hand.

Bake at 375° for 10 minutes.
