Roasted Turkey Breast

This Roasted Turkey Breast is a super simple recipe to help make your Thanksgiving cooking hassle-free! So moist and flavorful, no one will know how easy it was make!
Ingredients
- 1 (5 to 5.5 pound) bone-in turkey breast, thawed if frozen
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Preparation
Step 1
Place turkey breast on a cutting board and pat dry with paper towels. Spread onion slices on bottom of slow cooker and pour in chicken broth. Rub Italian seasoning, salt and pepper on and under skin of turkey breast.
Place turkey breast in slow cooker on top of onion and broth. Cover and slow cook on LOW for 5 hours or until an instant-read thermometer inserted in breast registers 165°F.
Remove turkey to a clean cutting board. Cover and let rest 10 minutes. Remove and discard skin; slice breast meat from bones. Cut meat crosswise into slices.
