Ingredients

  • 1 pkg carrot cake mix
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • Cream cheese frosting (bought or made)
  • Additional nuts (if desired for decoration)

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour bottom & sides of jelly roll pan. Mix cake mix with oil, water & eggs in a large bowl. Stir in nuts & raisins. Spread evenly in pan.

Bake 15-20 minutes or until bars spring back when touched lightly in the center. Cool completely (about 1 hour) and frost. Cut into 8 rows by 6 rows to make 48 bars.
