Lime-Strawberry Surprise

My Mom's go to Christmas Day salad

Ingredients

• 3 ounce package lime-flavored gelatin
• 1 cup drained crushed pineapple
• 1/2 cup Kraft Mayonnaise
• 8 ounces package Philadelphia Cream Cheese
• 1/2 cup chopped nutes
• 3 ounce package strawberry-flavored gelatin

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare lime Jello as directed on package. Chill until slightly thickened; fold in 1 cup drained crushed pineapple. Pour into 8-inch square pan; chill until firm. Gradually add 1/2 cup Mayonnaise to softened 8 ounces cream cheese, mixing until well blended. Add 1/2 cup chopped nuts; spread over molded Jello layer. Chill until firm. Prepare strawberry Jello as directed on package. (WAIT UNTIL JELLO IS COOL) and then pour over cheese mixture. Chill until firm. Cut in squares. Serve on lettuce; top with additional mayo, if desired.
