Orange Cranberry Bread

Ingredients
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 large orange
- 2 T butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1 c. cranberries
Details
Preparation
Step 1
Mix first 5 ingredients together and set aside. Juice and grate the rind of 1 large orange. Add enough boiling water to juice to make 3/4 c. Add 2 T melted butter, 1 beaten egg, and liquids to dry ingredients.
Add chopped pecans and cup of cut up cranberries.
Bake at 325 degrees in greased loaf pan for 1 hour.
Let cool and turn out.
Wrap up and use the next day.
