Easy Applesauce Cookies

With some of the fats in these cookies replaced with healthy applesauce, you can feel even better when you choose to indulge.
Ingredients
- TOPPING:
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup applesauce
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups of flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Step 1
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Mix together the butter, sugar, salt, applesauce, cinnamon, and vanilla until well combined. Then gradually add in the flour. Mix until fully incorporated and smooth.
Form dough into balls by and place on cookie sheet. Gently flatten balls (not too flat).
Bake for 18 minutes or until lightly browned at 325°F.
Gently roll warm cookies in cinnamon sugar mixture. Place on a cooling rack to cool completely.
