Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of celery or cream mushroom soup
  • 1/3 to 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • dash pepper
  • 4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 dash paparika
  • 8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion thinly sliced
  • butter; softened

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Combine soup, milk,parsley and pepper. Butter a casserole dish. Combine potatoes, onion and sauce. Pour into casserole dish. Dot with butter, and sprinkle with paprika.
Cover and bake for 1 hour. Uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes more. Test potatoes to ensure they are completely cooked.
