Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 5 cups vegetable broth
- 3 cups diced carrots
- 3 cups diced potatoes
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1 bay leaf
- salt and pepper

Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in a large saucepan and saute onions and garlic until cooked. Add broth, vegetables, italian spice and bay leaf. Bring to a quick boil, then lower temperature and simmer until the vegetables are tender, about 20 minutes. Remove bay leaf and blend the soup until smooth. SAeason with pepper and salt.
