Baked Garlic Toast
By Foodiewife
We love garlic bread, and I have a favorite recipe. However, this one comes in a very close second-- and comes from the Pioneer Woman. In this version, a garlicky, buttery, herby spread is made, slathered on to thick slices of French Bread and then baked open faced. I made this to go with her Italian Sloppy Joe Mix (see https://www.keyingredient.com/recipes/3426365032/italian-style-sloppy-joes/)
Ingredients
- GARLIC TOAST:
- 8 slices French bread
- 1 stick (8-tablespoons) butter, softened
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
