Baked Pork Chops with Rice and Tomatoes

  • 6 pork chops
  • 1 lrg. can tomatoes
  • 1 green pepper
  • 6 tsp. rice
  • 1 small onion
  • salt and pepper



Step 1

Get pork chops 1" thick. Salt and brown quicly in pan. Then place in casserole or roaster. Put a thin slice of onionon top of each chop and 1 tsp. rice (washed). Cover top with tomato pulp and a strip of green pepper. Add remaining tomato juice and some water if necessary. Cover and bake slowly - about 325 - for about 1 hour.
