Step 1

I cut the thick end into 1/4 inch slices and placed four of them in a greased baking dish. I mashed an avocado and put it on top of each slice.
Topped it with a generous amount of tomato sauce, sprinkled it with Italian spice and placed another zucchini slice on top. More Tomato sauce and grated Mozzerella on top. Baked at 350 until the Zucchinni was a little softer but not too soft. About 30 minutes, depending on the thickness of the slices. Lift with slotted spatula onto the plate. Makes very filling, Yummy dinner for two.
