Polish Kielbasa and Cabbage Soup

Ingredients
- 1 lb. polish Kielbasa, sliced into 1/4 inch rounds
- 2 cups onions, thinly sliced
- 4 cups green cabbage, shredded
- 1 tbs. garlic, minced
- 6 cup chicken broth or vegetable stock
- 2 cups potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. salt according to taste
- 1/2 tsp. pepper

Preparation
Step 1
Saute kielbasa in a large soup pot over medium heat for 5 minute.
Remove kielbasa and set aside. Add onion and cabbage and salute for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add garlic and salute for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add broth or stock, potatoes, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes.
Serve piping hot with a few drops of hot sauce, such as Siracha if desired.
