Thyme, Garlic, & Lemon Broiled Fish

Ingredients

  • 6 (6-8oz.) fish fillets
  • 1-1/2 tsp. Emeril's Essence
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 TB minced garlic
  • 4 TB extra-virgin olive oil, divided
  • 1 tsp. fresh thyme
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to broil. Adjust rack to 6 inches from broiler unit. Season both sides of fish with Essence, salt, & pepper. Place on a foil-lined baking sheet. In a small bowl, combine garlic, 2 TB olive oil, & thyme. Brush oil mixture evenly over fish. Drizzle with lemon juice. Sprinkle each fish with 1 TB bread crumbs. Drizzle with remaining 2 TB olive oil. Broil fish 12-14 minutes, or until bread crumbs are golden brown.
