Cranberry Orange Bread

Ingredients
- 2 C flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 - 1 C sugar
- 2 T softened butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 C orange juice
- 1 C chopped fresh or frozen cranberries (or 1/3 C dried)
- 1/2 C chopped nuts
- 2 T grated orange rind

Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine first 4 dry ingredients in bowl
2. Beat sugar and butter in large bowl until light anf fluffy; beat in egg till well blended
3. Add dry ingredients and OJ alternately to sugar mixture, mixing well after each addition
4. Stir in nuts, cranberries, rind
5. Pour into sprayed loaf pan; bake at 350 for 50 - 55 min. until pick clean
6. Cool 15 min. and remove from pan
