California Broccoli Salad

  • 4 c broccoli trimmed, cut up fresh
  • 1/2 lb bacon cut in 1" pieces and fried crisp
  • 1 c sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 3.75 oz pkg toasted sunflower kernels
  • 1/2 c raisins
  • 1/2 c red onion chopped
  • 3/4 c mayonnaise
  • 1/4 c sugar
  • 1/4 c sour cream
  • 2 T lemon juice


Servings 8


Step 1

In a large salad bowl, place broccoli, bacon, mushrooms, sunflower kernels, raisins, and onion. Gently toss.

Meanwhile, in a small bowl, stir mayo, sugar, sour cream, and lemon juice until blended. Pour over salad and toss until blended. Cover and chill 1 to 3 hours to blend flavors.
