Cranberry Sweet Potatoes Bake

The original recipe says to use dried cranberries, but I like the whole fresh berries,because they make more juice with the apples.

Ingredients
- 2 Lg sweet potatoes or yams cut in to chunks
- 3 T butter
- 1/2 C packed brown sugar
- 2 med apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 to 1 C whole cranberries
- 1/2 t ground cinnamon
- 1/2 t ground nutmeg

Preparation
Step 1
Boil sweet potatoes in water, covered until they are fork tender.
Drain, set aside.
In a skillet melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat, and then add
the apples, cook and stir until crisp-tender. Stir in the cranberries, cinnamon and nutmeg.
In a greased 1 1/2 qt baking dish, add potatoes, then add apple mixture and stir to mix up.
Cover cook at 375 for 30- 35 minutes or until bubbly.
For Ninja 3 in 1 cooker cook for 45 minutes in 350 oven in pan
and set on rack, set to oven.
