Guacamole

Mash avocados and add the rest
- 4 ripe avocados
- 1 tsp Lawry's seasoned salt
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 med tomato, chopped
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1 small onion, chopped fine
- Tabasco to taste
Olive Oil, Garlic, and Peperoncini Sauce

In a medium saucepan, on low heat, saute the garlic in olive oil
- 1/2 lb spinach linguine
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil and about 1/4 stick of butter
- 2 large cloves garlic, mince
- 1/3 tsp. dried red pepper flakes (peperoncini)
- grated Parmigiana Reggiano cheese (for garnish)
Crispy Breadsticks

Mix olive oil, seeds and seasoning
- 2 T. olive oil
- 1 tsp fennel seeds
- 1 tsp poppy seeds
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 1/2 tsp salt & pepper
- Pillsbury refrigerated breadstick dough

Chili - Tara's

A combination of my old recipe with a vegetarian recipe
- Garnishes:
- 2 T olive oil
- 1 med onion, chpd
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 slices bacon, chpd
- 2 stalks celery, chpd
- 2 green peppers, chpd
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp cumin
- 2 T. oregano
- 1 T. salt
- 2 tsp black pepper
- 6 oz tomato paste
- 1/3 c. chili powder (mixed with some warm water)
- Chipotle peppers in adobo sauce (1-3 peppers to your taste, chpd - 3 is HOT!)
- 2 - 4 oz cans green chiles
- 3 - 28 oz cans whole tomatoes, crush with your hands
- 1 - 15 oz can kidney beans, drained
- 1 - 15 oz can garbanzo beans, drained
- 1 - 15 oz can black beans, drained
- 1 - 15 oz corn, drained
- sour cream
- jalapenos
- shredded cheese
- chpd green onions
Pasta Primavera w Asparagus and Peas

Bring large pot of salted water to a boil
- 1/4 lb sugar snap peas, stems trimmed
- 1/2 lb asparagus, ends snapped
- 2 T butter
- 3/4 cup fresh Spring peas
- 1/4 c thinly sliced spring onion or shallot
- 2 garlic cloves, mined
- 1/2 tsp salt
- black pepper
- 12 oz fettuccine or tagliatelle
- 2/3 c. parmesan
- 1/2 c. creme fraiche, room temp (or whole milk Greek yogurt)
- 3 T. parsley, chpd finely
- 1 T. tarragon, chpd finely
Summer Pizza

Unroll crescent rolls and make fit onto a cookie sheet
- 2 pkg crescent rolls
- 2 pkg. cream cheese, room temp
- 2 tsp dill
- 1/2 cup mayo
- 1 cup green olives, chopped
- 1 cup black olives, chopped
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
- 3-4 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cups cauliflower florets, chopped
- 1 cup broccoli florets, chopped
Spicy Shrimp Stack

Skinny Taste recipe
- 1 1/3 cooked short-grain brown rice (1/2 c. uncooked)
- 2 T. rice vinegar
- 8 oz cooked shrimp, roast w/ sirracha sauce
- 1 c. diced English cucumber
- 1 tsp fresh chives, chpd
- 1 avocado, mashed w/ a little Lawry's seasoning salt
- 4 tsp Furikake (or sesame seeds)
- soy sauce
- 1/3 c. mayo and 1-2 T sirracha sauce mixed
Apple Slices

Preheat oven to 425 Crust: Cut lard and salt into flour until the size of small peas, not too large
- Crust:
- 5 c. flour
- 2 1/3 c. lard
- 2 T. salt
- 1 egg
- 3/4 c. cold water
- 1 T. vinegar
- fine bread crumbs
- Filling:
- 1 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon, plus more for sprinkling
- Freshly ground nutmeg, to taste
- 14 medium apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
- 1 lemon, zested and juiced
- cubed butter
Artichoke Parmesan Appetizer

Combine all ingredients and put into dish to bake for 25 minutes at 325 until brown and bubbly
- 2 cans artichokes, drained & quartered
- 2 cups mayo
- 1 1/2 cup parmesan
- 1 tsp garlic

- cajun dry mix to taste (about 2-4 T)
