- 1 No. 2 can beets
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup * BEET LIQUID
- 1 tablespoon butter
Peanut Brittle

- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup white corn syrup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups raw peanuts
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 teaspoons soda
Oatmeal Bread

POUR BOILING WATER OVER OATS
- 1 1/2 cups BOILING water
- 1 cup UNCOOKED * QUICK-COOKING OATS
- 1/2 cup SOFTENED butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup FIRMLY PACKED brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 3/4 cups ALL PURPOSE flour
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Oven Baked Beef Stew

1. Slice potatoes; place half in a large baking dish
- 1 16 oz. can potatoes, Drained
- 1 1/2 pounds boneless stewing beef, Cut into 1 1/2" cubes
- 1 each 1 each onion, Medium sized
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 1 10 3/4 ounce can canned mushroom gravy
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 package frozen peas

- 2 20 oz. cans pineapple, crushed, undrained
- 6 bananas
- 1 12 oz. can orange juice, frozen
- 1 12 oz. can water
- 1 12 oz. jar cherries, marischino
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups water
Fettuccini Primavera

HEAT OIL IN A LARGE SKILLET
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 2 cloves MINCED garlic
- 1/2 CUT IN STRIPS onion
- 1 1/2 cups SLICED * MUSHROOMS
- 1 * SMALL CUT IN THIN STRIPS zucchini
- 1/8 teaspoon CRUSHED basil
- 1/8 teaspoon CRUSHED oregano
- 3/4 cup WARM water
- 1/2 teaspoon * CHICKEN STOCK GRANULES
- 4 ounces CUBED cream cheese
- 10 ounces LARGE, COOKED * SHRIMP (FROZEN)
- 6 ounces HOT, COOKED * FETTUCCINI
- 3 tablespoons GRATED Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons MINCED parsley
- * TO TASTE FRESHLY GROUND black pepper

- 1 * LG PKG chocolate chip
- 1 cup * FDLOUR
- 1 cup CHOPPED (OPTIONAL) nuts

BLEND FRUIT JUICE CONCENTRATE AND BANANAS IN BLENDER
- 46 ounces pineapple juice
- 12 ounces UNDILUTED FROZEN orange juice
- 6 ounces UNDILUTED FROZEN lemonade
- 6 bananas
- 3 cups water
- 2 cups sugar
- 64 ounces CHILLED * SPRITE
Plains Cheese Ring

Mix all ingredients except preserves; mold with hands into desired shape
- 1 pound sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 small,grated onion
- black pepper, to taste
