Hot Dogs with Black Beans and Sauerkraut

Heat a medium sized frying pan with olive oil
- 8 hot dogs
- Frank’s Kraut
- Your favorite bun or flat bread
- For the Black Beans
- 19 oz can black beans – drained
- 1 large onion – sliced
- 2 cloves garlic – chopped
- 3 vine ripe tomatoes – diced
- 1/4 cup Italian parsley – chopped
- 1/2 large jalapeño – diced with or without seeds
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp. turmeric
- 2 -3 tbs. olive oil
Avocado and Sour Cream Dip

Some good times are spent around a good dip
- For the Dip:
- 2 avocados
- 2 cloves of garlic – gently grilled in skin
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. ground cumin
Pesto & Yogurt Pasta

In a food processor, blend parsley, garlic, nuts and oil until smooth
- 1 1/2 cups flat leaf Parsley
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup mixed nuts
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1/4 cup low-fat plain yogurt (can be substituted with Greek yogurt)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt & Pepper
- 1/2 lb. Farfalle (use your favorite pasta or spaghetti)

- 2 1/2 lbs. boneless chicken breast – cut into strips
- 1 1/2 inch piece of fresh ginger – chopped
- 4 cloves of garlic chopped
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 tsp. ground turmeric
- 1/2 tsp. ground curry powder
Graham Cracker Crumb Apple Pie

Graham Cracker Crumb Apple Pie is one of the wonderful ways to celebrate the fall apples
- CRUST:
- 8 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs (about 4-5 sheets of graham cracker sheets)
- FILLING:
- 8 apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon corn starch
- 1/4 cup golden raisins
- TOPPING:
- 1 cup Graham cracker crumbs (4-5 sheets of graham crackers)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 stick sweet butter
Classic Pumpkin Pie

Combine all ingredients for the tart shell
- For Crust:
- 2 cups AP flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup confectioner's sugar
- 5 tablespoon butter
- 1 egg
- Pinch of salt
- For Pumpkin Pie Filling:
- 2 cups Pumpkin Puree
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon cloves
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
Burgers with Sweet and Spicy Bell Pepper Relish

Burgers: In a large bowl combine all of the above ingredients and mix together well
- Burgers:
- 2 1/2 lbs. ground beef
- 2 tablespoons Thick Classic Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 tablespoons Teriyaki Sauce
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
- Favorite bun
- Favorite slices of cheese
- Thin slice of fresh cucumber
- For the Sweet and Spicy Bell Pepper Relish:
- 6 bell peppers – (any color) – sliced
- 1 grilled jalapeño – sliced with seeds
- 2 large cloves of garlic – chopped
- 1/2 large sweet onion – sliced
- 1/2 cup fresh basil – chopped
- 1 tablespoon capers – chopped
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Thick Classic Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Buttermilk Pear Cake with Rum Soaked Strawberries

- 1/2 cup buttermilk
