Summer Burgers

In a large bowl combine all above ingredients
- 2 lbs. ground beef
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 egg
- 4 oz. oats
- 3 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tps Ground Black Pepper
- 2 tps Garlic Powder
- 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
Strawberry with Chocolate Ice Cream {No-Churn}

In a bullet blender or food processor, pulse strawberries until well blended
- 2 cups frozen or fresh strawberries
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
- 16 oz. whipping cream
- 1 (14 oz.) can of sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Baked Chicken, Baked Carrot Sticks & Baked Potato Wedges

There really is nothing like a good baked chicken
- Rub for the chicken skin:
- 1 whole chicken
- 1 bunch of Italian parsley – chopped
- 4 cloves of garlic – chopped
- 1/2 cup of grated Romano cheese
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Olive oil
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- Olive oil – for drizzling
- ~ Baked Carrot Sticks ~
- Ingredients:
- 15 whole carrots cleaned
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon of vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. Chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ~ Baked Potato Wedges ~
- Ingredients:
- 5 lb. of potatoes
- Handful of fresh basil - chopped
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon of vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 1/4 tsp. of black pepper
- 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
Pork Burgers and Sautéed Veggies

This is a nice garnish to a sandwich
- For the Veggies:
- 3 lbs. boneless pork loin – cubed
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Dashes of Living the Gourmet Dry Herb Rub
- 2 tablespoons pimento olives
- Healthy handful of Italian parsley
- 4 cloves garlic - chopped
- 2 tablespoons sun dried tomatoes
- 1/2 green bell pepper – diced
- Drizzle of olive oil
- 1 onion – sliced
- 1 1/2 green bell pepper
- 4 cloves of garlic – chopped
- 1 tomato – diced
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Chili powder
- Olive oil
Iceberg Lettuce Salad

Quarter the lettuce and arrange on a platter
- Dressing:
- 1 head of ice berg lettuce – quartered
- 2 Kirby cucumbers – quartered
- Handful of radishes – sliced
- 1 red onion – sliced
- Fresh grated Romano cheese
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
Ginger and Garlic Chicken

Combine all of the ingredients for the marinade in a bowl
- For the Marinade:
- 3 lbs. boneless chicken breast – sliced
- 2 cups frozen peas
- 1 cup of uncooked rice
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 3 cloves of garlic – crushed and chopped
- 1 inch piece of fresh ginger – sliced thin
- 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
Rosemary & Lemon Infused Cake

In a small saucepan, bring water, sugar and rosemary for syrup to a simmer
- Simple Rosemary Syrup
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 Rosemary sprig
- Cake
- 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 4 tablespoons canola oil
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Sprig of Rosemary from Syrup, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup milk
- Rosemary Glaze
- 2 cups confectioner’s sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 3-4 tablespoons Rosemary Simple Syrup
- Edible flowers, Rosemary sprig & blossoms for garnish

- 3 cloves of garlic – chopped
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Juice of 1 large lemon
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. turmeric
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- Vegetable oil for sautéing
- For the Warm Romaine and Bean Salad:
- 1 head of Romaine
- 19 oz. can of kidney beans – or your choice of beans – drained
- 1 red onion – sliced
- 1/2 jalapeño – diced with seeds
- 2 cloves of garlic – chopped
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- For the Dressing:
- 1/4 cup of vinegar
- 1/4 cup of water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tbs. sugar
Dry Rub Spare Ribs

Combine all of the ingredients for the rub in a small bowl and mix
- Dry Rub:
- 3 lbs. of spare ribs
- 1/2 tsp. ground turmeric
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. Jamaican curry
- 1 tsp. brown sugar
Broccoli Rabe with Fresh Bread Crumbs and Spaghetti

Bring a large pot of salted water with a wedge or two of lemon to a boil
- For the Fresh Bread Crumbs:
- 2 bunches of fresh broccoli – cut about 1 inch off stems
- Fresh lemon – quartered
- 6 About 6 cloves of garlic – chopped
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lb. favorite spaghetti
- Fresh Romano or Parmesan cheese for grating
- Approximately 1/4 - 1/2 loaf of hard Italian bread – cubed
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
- 1 inch piece of fresh Romano or Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
