Ingredients
- 2 pounds lean beef, such as round cubed about 1 1/2"
- 1 acorn squash peeled, seeded, and cut in 1" pieces
- 2 large red potatoes cubed in 1 1/2" pieces
- 1 large onion quartered, and sliced 1/4" thick
- 1 package dry mushroom gravy mix
- 1 can diced tomatoes with juice - (14 1/2 oz)
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly-ground black pepper
- 2 large bay leaves
- Salt to taste

Combine all ingredients in Slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours.
