  • 3 Cups Rhubarb, sliced (fresh or defrosted if frozen)
  • 3 Cups fresh Strawberries (or other berries), cut into large chunks
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • Topping
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup large flake oats
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine topping ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs and the margarine/butter is mixed in. Set aside.
Toss fruit, flour and sugar together. Pour fruit mixture into a large casserole dish. Top with topping.
Bake 30 minutes or until rhubarb is soft and topping is browned. Serve with ice-cream.
