Ingredients
- 4 * 4 cloves cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 2 * 2 teaspoons sweet paprika
- 1/4 * 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper flakes
- 2 * 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 * 1 pound peeled shrimp with or without tails
- 1/4 * 1/4 cup dry white port or sherry
- 1 * 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 * 1/4 cup chopped flat-leaf parsley
- 1 * 1 baguette, thinly sliced
- 1 * 1 pinch Salt and pepper

Preparation
Step 1
1. In a skillet over medium heat, soften the garlic with the spices in the oil. Add the shrimp, port and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and simmer until the shrimp are just cooked through, about 2 minutes. Remove from the heat. Add the parsley and adjust the seasoning. Transfer to a shallow serving bowl. Drizzle with olive oil if desired. Serve with bread for sopping up the sauce.
