Pork Chops with Peppers and Onions

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 6 pork chops
  • 2 medium green peppers, cut into strips
  • 1 medium onion cut int 8 wedges
  • 1 jar 28oz prego flavored with meat italian sauce
  • 6 cups hot cooked medium egg noodles

Preparation

Step 1

In 10 inch skillet over medium-high heat, in 1 tbsp hot oil, cook half of the chops 10 minutes or until browned on both sides. Remove;set aside. Repeat with remaining chops.

Reduce heat to medium. In same skillet, in remaining hot oil, cook peppers and onion until tender/crisp;stirring often.

Stir in Prego sauce. Over medium-high heat, heat to boiling. Return chops to skillet. Reduce heat to low. Cover; cook 10 minutes or until chops are no longer pink, stirring occasionally. Serve with noodles.
