Pumpkin orange cookies

Ingredients

• Orange glaze:
• 2 1/2 cups flour
• 1/2 t baking soda
• 1/2 t salt
• 1 cup margarine softened
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 3/4 cup Pumpkin
• 2 T orange juice
• 1 t grated orange peel
• 1/2 cup chopped nuts
• 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar, 2-3 T orange juice and 1/2 t grated orange peel.

Preparation

Step 1

Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in medium bowl. Combine butter, sugar, and brown sugar; beat until creamy. Add egg, pumpkin, orange juice and orange peel; beat until combined. Grandually add flour mixture beat until combined. Stir in nuts. Drop by tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 375 for 12-14 minutes or until edges are set. Remove, cool and ice.
