Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups carrots ; sliced
  • 1 medium onion ; sliced
  • 1 package frozen spinach ; chopped
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese ; old
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 1/2 cup buttered soft breadcrumbs

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350° F.

Cook carrots and onions. Drain.

Cook spinach. Drain.

Make cheese sauce.

In an ungreased 1 quart casserole layer veggies and cheese. Repeat and top with crumbs.

Bake for 20 minutes.
