Peach Blueberry Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 cups of sliced peaches
  • 1 cup of blueberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons quick cooking tapioca
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 2 Tablespoon margarine or butter
  • top and bottom pie crust

Preparation

Step 1

Sprinkle lemon juice over fruit in large bowl. Combine sugar with tapioca and salt. Add to fruit and mix thoroughly and let stand for 15 minutes.

Mound in center of a 9" pie plate and place slices of butter or margarine on top of fruit. Use cold water around bottom crust to seal top crust.

Bake in a preheated 425 degree oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until bubbly.
