1. In small bowl stir together KEEBLER SANDIES Pecan Shortbread cookies, flour and 2 tablespoons of the butter
- 18 Keebler Sandies Pecan Shortbread cookies (crushed to 2 1/4 cups)
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup butter, melted (divided)
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup broken pecans
- 1/2 cup miniature semi-sweet

CRISPY PEANUT SQUARES

1. In 3-quart saucepan, combine chocolate morsels and 1 cup of the peanut butter morsels

For crust: Whisk first 3 ingredients in large bowl
- Crust:
- 1 cup unbleached all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup fine-grind whole grain cornmeal
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) chilled unsalted butter, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 3 tablespoons chilled solid vegetable shortening (preferably with no trans fats), diced
- 3 to 4 tablespoons ice water
- Nonstick vegetable oil spray
- Dressing•1/2 pound bacon, coarsely chopped
- 1 1/2 cups chopped sweet onion (such as Vidalia or Maui)
- 1 cup chopped red bell pepper
- 1 12-ounce package frozen corn kernels (2 1/2 cups), thawed, patted dry
- 1 1/2 cups half and half
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 cup chopped green onions
- 1 1/2 cups (packed) coarsely grated Gruyère cheese (about 6 ounces)

- 1 (9") pie crust
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 T. lemon juice
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups black walnuts
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
Chicken Salad With Pistachios and Grapes

- 1 lb chicken, roasted, cut in 1/2 inch cubes
- 4 stalks celery, chopped
- 3/4 cup grapes, sliced in half
- 1/3 cup pistachios, shelled and chopped

- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

- 1 1/2 cups cooked leftover turkey, chopped (or chicken)

I first tasted these Pecan Praline Cookies with Brown Sugar Frosting at a Christmas Cookie Swap several decades ago
- PECAN PRALINE COOKIES:
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup pecans, finely chopped
- Pecan halves, for garnish
- BROWN SUGAR FROSTING:
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 cup half & half
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar (plus a little more if needed)
