Buttermilk Potato Salad

1. Cover potatoes with water by 1 1/2 inches in a 2 quart pot and bring to a boil
- 3 pounds small red potaoes
- 1/4 cup plus 1 tbs. sour cream
- 1/2 cup low fat buttermilk
- 2 tbs. prepared horseradish
- 2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp. freshly ground peppper
- 1/4 cup dill sprigs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped chives
Marinara Sauce

1. Over medium heat in a large pot, Add olive oil and garlic
- 6 cans crushed Tomatoes
- 3 tbs extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tsp kosher salt
- 12-15 cloves garlic crushed (in garlic press)
- 15-20 leaves fresh basil
Grilled Vanilla Peaches

1. Preheat Grill to high heat
- 8 peaches, peel, halve and pitted
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tbs. vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 tbs. packed light brown sugar
- 2 tsp.water
- 2 tsp.pure vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. kosher salt
- 1 quart vanilla ice cream
Shrimp, Corn and Bacon Chowder

1. Make shrimp stock- combine all stock ingredients in a large saucepot
- Stock
- Shells from 2 pounds of shrimp
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 5 peppercorns
- 4 inner stalks of celery with leaves on
- 1 onion , cut into quarters
- 2 cups clam juice
- 8 cups of water
- Soup
- 2 pounds large shrimp- 1 pound cut in half
- 8 slices bacon, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
- 1 large onion, coarsely chopped
- 2 stalks celery, coarsely chopped
- 4 Russet potatoes, peeled and cut into large chunks
- 6 cups frozen white and yellow corn
- 4 sprigs of thyme
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 2 tsp Old Bay's seasoning
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- table grind peppper to taste
- 1/4 cup of flour
- 4 cups half and half( I use low fat)

1. Preheat oventto 350.Grease a 13x9 pan 2
- 2 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup buttermilk or 1 cup milk with 1 tsp white vinegar(sour milk)

1. Preheat oven to 300. Season meat on all sides with 1 tablespoon of salt and the pepper
- 3 1/2-4 pounds beef stew meat, cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
