Fat Free Easy Cornbread

A really good, basic cornbread that is surprisingly moist and delicious. You can make it however sweet you want depending on how you like it.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 c soymilk
  • 1.5 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 c cornmeal
  • 1 c whole wheat or white flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar or equivalent of other sweetener
  • .75 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • .5 tsp baking soda

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425. Mix vinegar into soy milk and set aside to curdle. Mix dry ingredients together in mixing bowle then poor in curdled soy milk and mix. Bake 25 or 30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Enjoy!
