Bacon and Caramelized Onion Asparagus

  • 2 slices bacon
  • 1 1/2 pounds fresh asparagus spears, trimmed
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1/2 cup onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing

Step 1

Cook bacon, Drain on paper towels. Discard drippings from skillet. (DO NOT wash skillet)

Place asparagus in microwave casserole dish. Add water. Microwave on high 4-5 minutes or until asparagus is crisp-tender. Meanwhile, add onions to skillet; cook and stir 5 minutes or until crisp-tender. Stir in dressing.

Drain asparagus; top with sauce and crumbled bacon.
