Ingredients

  • 2 cups thinly sliced carrots
  • 2 apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup onions, finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup water or chicken broth
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 4 slices lemon, halved

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

In a covered casserole dish, combine carrots, apple onion brown sugar and salt. Mix well.

Add water and dot with butter. Top with lemon slices.

Cover and bake at 375* for 20-30 minutes.
