Ginger Shallot Marinade

  • Large ginger root, peeled and chopped
  • 2 large shallots chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 5-7 fresh basil leaves
  • Juice of one lime
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Salt and pepper


Servings 6


Step 1

Put all ingredients in a blender or food processor and mix. Marinade meat for several hours.
