Grilled New Potato Kabobs

Precooked potatoes are quickly grilled just before serving. For best results, select potatoes of uniform size.

Ingredients
- 4 pounds small new potatoes
- Salt
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Preparation
Step 1
Place potatoes in salted water to cover in large saucepan. Heat to boiling; boil until potatoes are tender, about 10 to 12 minutes. Drain. Transfer potatoes to large bowl and toss with oil, garlic and pepper. (Can be made ahead. Cover and refrigerate up to 24 hours).
Preheat grill or broiler and broiler pan. Thread potatoes evenly on 7 metal skewers. Grill or broil 9 minutes, turning every 3 minutes and brushing with oil mixture, until evenly browned.
