Ingredients
- Make pastry for a covered pie.
- 5 cups thinly sliced apples, peeled.
- 1 pint fresh blackberries, rinsed and drained.
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice.
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp cornstarch

Preparation
Step 1
Place bottom pastry in a pie plate and top with a thin layer of apples. Combine blackberries and remaining apples in a large bowl. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Add sugar and cornstarch and toss gently. Spoon into pie shell and dot with butter. Cover with top shell and seal edges. Brush with milk and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 375 for 50 minutes or until filling is bubbling and apples are tender.
