Polish Sausage and Cabbage Soup

  • 2 cups cubed peeled potatoes
  • 4 cups packaged coleslaw mix with carrots
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp caraway seeds, crushed
  • 1 lb cooked Polish sausage, halved lengthwise and cut into 1/2 inch slices
  • 4 cups reduced-sodium chick broth


Servings 6


Step 1

In a 3-1/2 to 6 qt slow cooker place potatoes, coleslaw mix, onion, caraway seeds, and sausage. Pour broth over all.

Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 10-12 hours or on high-heat setting for 5-6 hours.
