Linguini with tomatoes, basil, garlic and olive oil

Ingredients
- 1/2 package whole wheat linguini
- 2 oz good quality extra virgin olive oil
- 8 cloves of garlic thinly sliced
- 1 bunch of fresh basil thinly sliced
- 6 ripe roma tomatoes roughly chopped
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp fresh ground pepper

Step 1
Bring salted water to a boil and cook the linguini for 8 - 10 minutes or until al-dente. Strain, rinse and set aside.
In a hot saute pan add oil, garlic and crushed red pepper, cook until garlic is slightly brown being careful ot to over brown.
immediately add tomatoes and cook for a few more minutes
add basil, salt and pepper and toss with pasta
serve immediately
