Ingredients
- 5 cups sliced peeled tart apples (about 4)
- 1/8 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 tbsp. butter, cubed

Preparation
Step 1
Place apples in a 1 1/2 qt. microwave safe bowl. Combine the sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and nutmeg; sprinkle over apples and toss to coat. Dot with butter. Cover and microwave on high for 10-12 minutes or until apples are tender, stirring every 5 minutes.
