Ingredients

  • 1 tbs cornstarch
  • 1/2 tbs cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 Tbsp. butter (melted)
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1-1/2 cups milk or 1-1/2 oz. can evaporated milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/8 cup molasses
  • 2 eggs beaten

Preparation

Step 1

1.Sift sugar, cornstarch, salt, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg together
2.Mix this with contents of one can of pumpkin and eggs, beaten, melted butter, molasses and milk
3.Add a dash of lemon juice
4.Line a 9 inch pie plate and poor contents
5.Pre heat oven and bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350 degrees and continue to bake for 50 minutes
