Ingredients
- topping:
- 2 c. bisquick
- 2 T. brown sugar
- 1/2 t. cinnamon
- 1/4 t. ginger
- 1/4 t. nutmeg
- 1 egg
- 1 1/3 c. milk
- 1 cup canned sweet potatoes, mashed
- 2 T. canola oil
- 1 t. vanilla
- 1 T. butter
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- 2 T. brown sugar
- 1 T. water
- 1/8 t. cinnamon
- dash salt
- dash nutmeg

Preparation
Step 1
Combine waffle ingredients and prepare in waffle iron.
In small skillet, melt butter. Add nuts. Cook and stir over medium heat for 2 mintues. Add rest of ingredients and stir until sugar is dissolved. Serve with waffles and maple syrup.
