Strawberry-Orange Salad
Segmenting fresh oranges is simple, but you can also substitute drained jarred mandarin oranges.

Ingredients
- Salad:
- 1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
- 4 navel oranges, peeled and segmented (can use canned or jarred mandarin oranges)
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1/3 cup sliced almonds, toasted
- 1 recipe Creamy lemon-poppy seed dressing (see below)
- Dressing:
- 3/4 cup plain yogurt
- 3 Tbsp honey
- minced zest of 1 lemon
- 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp poppy seeds
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- Salt to taste

Step 1
Salad:
Toss together strawberries, orange segments, basil, almonds and as much dressing as desired.
Dressing:
Combine yogurt, honey, zest, lemon juice and poppy seeds in a food processor or blender. With the machine running drizzle in oil until dressing is combined. Season dressing with salt.
