Fiordifrutta Strawberry Crumb Bars

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2-1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1-1/2 cups quick oats
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup Fiordifrutta fruit spread
  • Cinnamon (optional)

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Combine sugars, flour, oats. baking powder and salt in a large mixing bowl.

Add butter, egg and vanilla and mix until combined.

Press about 2/3 of the dough mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 baking pan sprayed with nonstick spray. Wet your hands a little to help with pressing in the crust.

Spread Fiordifrutta fruit spread evenly over the dough.

Take the remaining dough and crumble over the top of your strawberry spread.

Place in preheated oven and bake for about 40 minutes until top turns golden.

Allow to cool before cutting into pieces and serving.
