Ginger-Lime Scallops

Ingredients

  • 1 dozen sea scallops (the BIG ones!)
  • 12 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 6 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 6 tablespoons hot chili sauce
  • 6 tablespoons grated fresh ginger

Preparation

Step 1

In a small bowl, combine the lime juice, hoisin sauce, hot chili sauce
and ginger. Blend well.

Place the scallops in a shallow casserole dish and pour the marinade
over them. Let stand for about 1 hour, turning the scallops occasionally
to coat all sides.

Grill the scallops until just opaque and serve.
