Ingredients
- 1 1 1 C butter, softened
- 1 1 1 C pumpkin
- 1 1 1 egg
- 1 1 1 t vanilla
- 2 2 2 C flour
- 1 1 1 t baking powder
- 1 1 1 t baking soda
- 1 1 1 t cinnamon
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 t salt

Preparation
Step 1
In a bowl work butter until creamy. Gradually work in 1 cup sugar until the mix is smooth. Add 1 c pumpkin, egg and vanilla. Beat well. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Blend dry mix into wet mix. Drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookies sheets and bake 10 minutes in 375 degree oven. Makes 50 cookies.
FROSTING:
In a saucepan combine 1/2 C brown sugar, 1/4 C milk, 3 T butter. Cook for 2 minutes and remove it from heat. Let it cool. Stir in 3/4 t vanilla and 1 C confectioners sugar.
