Ingredients

  • 5 large peeled potatoes thinly sliced
  • same amount of ham
  • 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 4 tablespoons of flour
  • 3 cups milk
  • salt & pepper

Preparation

Step 1

melt butter in saucepan & mix in flour
cook for 60 seconds & remove from heat
whisk in milk
return to heat mixing continuously & add salt & pepper
mix until thickened

grease pan & add 1/2 white sauce, 1/2 cheese, all potatoes, all ham & mix
add remaining cheese & sauce to cover all potatoes
cook @ 350 roughly 1 hour or until golden brown
