- 4 medium onions -- sliced thin
- 1/2 cup grated cheese
- 1 1/2 cups cooked ham, cut in cubes
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- pepper to taste

Step 1
Place first four ingredients in 2 quart casserole in layers. Combine soup and milk, salt and pepper and pour over all. Cover and bake at 350 oven for 45 minutes, bake uncovered 15 minutes. Add mushrooms to above if desired.
